Legal Trouble
(a work in progress)

What do love and arson have in common? Both have the potential to turn Emma Morgan’s world to ash.

Falling for Whitlow Group’s acting CEO might not be the dumbest thing Emma’s ever done, but it certainly ranks high on the list. When Noah Javier Whitlow, III toys with women, it’s either for a headline or a good time, and Emma’s already had enough drama in her life. Everything being equal, why has the playboy billionaire set his sights on her?

Noah isn’t the marrying kind, but something about Emma calls to him. Her vulnerability and sexy curves should be the last thing on his mind, especially when he has a potential career-ending lawsuit to fight and a family power struggle to thwart. And yet, he can’t seem to walk away from her.

When an act of arson destroys Emma’s home, Noah is the last person she expects to be guilty, and yet, every clue points directly at him. It’s up to Emma to see past the mirage of what she thinks she knows—and who she believes herself to be—because getting to the bottom of this plot is the only way to clear Noah’s name and the path to her heart.

Healing Her Heartbroken Doctor
(a work in progress)

Psychologist Dr. Kayla Evans is fighting battles on several fronts. Not only is she six months pregnant, but the father of her child has left her in emotional ruin. To complicate matters, the long-time doctor at the juvenile rehabilitation camp she runs has passed away. With her due date looming, Kayla must find a replacement doctor, and sexy, surgeon Dr. Jackson Hughes is just who the doctor ordered. The woman, however, isn’t as easily impressed.

Jackson is trying to put a tragic choice behind him. Where better to suture his broken spirit than Camp Phoenix? Located in the beautiful Ouachita Mountains, the camp specializes in Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT). Conventional Jackson’s prepared for the unconventional counseling, but he isn’t prepared for the camp’s stunning director or the pull she has on his wounded heart.

Both doctors vow to keep professional barriers intact, but when a complication with Kayla’s pregnancy leads to bed rest, circumstances force them to work closer than before. Long days and nights spent in close quarters chip away at the barrier they’re trying to keep between them. When that barrier is on the verge of crumbling, a spring thunderstorm turns violent, and Jackson finds himself faced with another life-and-death choice—one that parallels the choice that sent him retreating to Camp Phoenix. This time, if he screws up, Kayla and her unborn daughter could pay a fatal price.
